Pain

Pain

Post-Surgical Pain: Pain following surgery is common and usually temporary, subsiding as the body recovers / Psychogenic Pain: This type of pain is associated with psychological factors like stress, anxiety, or depression, rather than a physical injury or illness / Medically Unexplained Symptoms: Some individuals experience persistent pain without a clear medical cause. These symptoms can be challenging to diagnose and treat.

Behaviour

When in pain, an individual is likely to exhibit behaviours such as vocal expressions (e.g., moaning or complaining) and nonverbal cues like grimacing or adopting protective postures. They may also withdraw from activities, take pain medication, or frequently touch or guard the painful area.
